BCB Academy suffer defeat in Australia tour

Bangladesh National Cricket Academy team suffered second successive defeat in Australia tour conceding an 8-wicket loss against Queensland Academy of Sports in the third one-day match in Kahlin Thursday, reports UNB.
Batting first, GP-BCB National Academy team were all out for 81 in 30.1 overs. Opener Jahurul Islam Omi scored 16 runs off 19 balls and Dollar Mahmud 14 runs off 8 balls.
In reply, Queensland Academy of Sports cantered to their target scoring 85 runs in 18.1 overs for the loss of two wickets.
Talha Jubair and Dollar Mahmud took one wicket each for 16 and 24 runs respectively.

Earlier, GP-BCB Cricket Academy team conceded a 83-run defeat in the 2nd one-day match against New South Wales at Palmerston on Tuesday after beating Western Australia by 10 runs in their first match at the Marrara Cricket Ground Monday.
