BCB Academy take 295-run lead over Tasmania on second day

The GP-BCB National Cricket Academy team, now touring Australia, took a comfortable 295-run lead over Tasmania on the second day of the Crocodile Cup three-day match at the University ground Monday, reports UNB.
Replying to Academy team's first innings total of 308 for 7 (dec), Tasmania resumed the first innings with overnight 5 for no loss and were all out for 152 in 54.5 overs with Wells making 61 off 161 balls and Divin 25 off 45 balls.
Dollar Mahmud and Enamul Haque claimed three wickets each for 21 and 25 runs respectively while Mahbubul Alam Robin and Nazmul Hossain took two wickets each for 38 and 40 runs respectively.
In reply, BCB Academy team opened the second innings and scored 139 runs for 6 wickets in 47 overs when bails were drawn for the second day with Sahagir Hossain Pavel and Nayeem Islam batting with 34 runs (62 ball) and 27 runs (48 balls) respectively.
Besides, Raquibul Hasan (31), Nasiruddin Faruque (27), skipper Mehrab Hossain Jr (8) and Imrul Kayes (5) were the other notable contributors for BCB Academy team.
Dhiman Ghosh, who hit an unbeaten century in the first innings Sunday, returned to the pavilion with duck along with Suhrawardy Shuvo, playing three and 11 balls respectively.
Divin captured three wickets conceding 29 runs.
