Bangladesh Cricket Board on Thursday announced a 14-member of final squad for the first Test against visiting West Indies starting from November 13 at the Sher-e- Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, reports BSS.
Uncapped off spinner Sohag Gazi and medium-pacer Abul Hasan have been selected in the squad, for the first Test against West Indies. Hasan, a 20-year-old fast bowler from Sylhet, played four Twenty20 internationals for Bangladesh this year. In six first-class games, he has taken eight wickets at 43.37 apiece. Gazi, 21, has 87 wickets at an average of 24 from 18 first-class games for Barisal.
Meanwhile the players from the preliminary list of 22 who have not been selected in the first Test squad have been asked to join their respective National Cricket League teams for the next round of matches.

Mushfiqur Rahim (Captain), Mahmudullah (vice captain), Tamim Iqbal, Junaed Siddique, Shahriar Nafees, Shakib Al Hasan, Naeem Islam, Nazim Uddin, Nasir Hossain, Mohammed Elias, Shahadat Hossain, Rubel Hossain, Abul Hasan and Shohag Gazi.
