The three-day practice match between BCB XI and touring Sri Lanka ended in draw on the 3rd and final day at the BKSP ground in Savar Tuesday, reports UNB.
Replying to BCB XI's paltry first innings total of 88 for all,
Sri Lanka, which resumed the first innings with overnight 36 for 2, were all out for 316 runs in 95.3 overs at stumps on the final day.
After the dismissal of top five batsmen-Michael Vandort (17),
Malintha Warnapurna (0), Chamara Kapugedera (0), T Samaraweera (19) and skipper Mahela Jayawardene-for 94 runs in 34.5 overs, two middle order batsmen TM Dilshan and Prasanna Jayawardene carried the total to a respectable position.
TH Dilshan hammered 88 runs off 139 balls with seven fours and three sixes while P Jayawardene scored 70 runs off 128 balls featuring six boundaries, before they retired.
Lankan skipper Mahela Jayawardene, who resumed batting with 14 runs, finally made 43 off 81 balls with the help of six fours.
