BCB XI-SA match ends in draw

The three-day warm-up match between BCB XI and visiting South Africa ended in a draw at the Osmani Stadium at Fatullah Tuesday, reports UNB.
Resuming the 3rd day with overnight 263 for 5 in 64.3 overs, BCB XI declared their first innings at 412 for 9 in 102.3 overs today, taking a 15-run lead.
The two night watch batsmen -- Shakib Al Hasan (20*) hammered 73 runs off 68 balls with 15 fours and Roquibul Hasan (12*) scored 44 runs off 92 balls with eight fours.
Mushfiqur Rahim (26), Forhad Reza (10) and Enamul Haque Jr. (10*) were the other notable scorers.
J Botha, who took one wicket on the 2nd day (Monday), finished his spell with four wickets for 76 runs while M Morkel and M Ntini grabbed two wickets each for 70 and 85 runs respectively.
In reply, South Africa started their 2nd innings and scored 47 for none in 9 overs as bad weather forced the match to stop. Openers Graeme Smith and Ashwell Prince remained unbeaten on 32 and 9 respectively.
