BD claim hat-trick title in Chiang Mai

THAILAND, Apr 5: Bangladesh cricketers celebrating after becoming champions for the third time in Chiang Mai Six-a-Side International Cricket tournament held in Thailand Saturday.

THAILAND, Apr 5: Bangladesh became hat-trick champions in Chiang Mai Six-a-Side International Cricket tournament held in Thailand, said a press release.

Walton Cricketeers, who represent defending champions Bangladesh, beat Chiang Mai Warriors of Pakistan by six wickets in the tournament final Saturday to become unbeaten hat-trick champions.

Batting first, Pakistan scored 40 runs for 3 wickets in 5 overs. Walton Cricketeers' bowler Shaon claimed 2 wickets while Minhazul Shafil grabbed the other.

In reply, Walton Cricketeers reached target in 4.2 overs without any loss of wicket.
