BD-England Youth ODI series begins today

The three-match Youth One Day International (ODI) series between hosts Bangladesh U-19 team and touring England U-19 team will begin at Sheikh Kamal International Stadium in Cox's Bazar today (Tuesday), reports UNB.

The other two matches of the series will be played on January 31 and February 02 at the same venue.

Hosts Bangladesh are flying high after beating the tourists by seven wickets in the lone T20 match in Cox's Bazar on Sunday. Chasing England's 120, the home side scored 123 losing three wickets in 18.5 overs.

Right-handed batsman cum wicket-keeper Akbar Ali led the young Tigers to victory in the first ever International T20 match at the youth level.

The English U-19 Team will travel to Chattogram on February 04 to play a two-match four-day Youth Tests series from February 07-10 and February 15-18 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.

Visiting English team will leave for home on February 19.
