BD, India clinch gold in Fazilatunnesa Mujib International Martial Art

Bangladesh and visiting India clinched gold medals in the fourth-edition opening day's events of the Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib International Martial Art competition at the National Sports Council Gymnasium on Sunday, reports UNB.
Vinsen of Narayanganj District secured gold for Bangladesh in the minus 48kg weight category of the Boys Karate event while Sanasham Jiben Maytar of India clinched gold in the 48kg weight category of Boys Vobinam. Vobinam is a Vietnam style of Martial Art.
In all, 500 players, including men and women from 20 countries, are competing in the 16 events of the three-day meet organised by Bangladesh Martial Art Confederation with the support of Morium Foundation.
