BD Jr Open Golf begins in city Sept 2

The first ever Bangladesh Junior Open Golf' 2014, organised by Bangladesh Golf Federation, will begin on September 2 at the Kurmitola Golf Club in the city, reports UNB.

Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) Syed Shahed Reza will inaugurate the three-day meet in the morning.

Some 110 junior golfers from all over golf clubs of the country will compete in the three age group competitions-Under 16, Under-18 and Under-21.

Principal Staff Officer of Army Head Quarters will be the chief guest at the closing function on September 4 at the same venue.
