Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket team will play touring Afghanistan Under-19 Cricket team in a do-or-die last and 5th match at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium today (Friday) to avoid the series defeat, reports UNB.

ICC full member and Test-playing Bangladesh's Youth team need a victory to avoid an embarrassing defeat against their minnow Youth team of the ICC associate member Afghanistan.

Touring Afghanistan surprising took a 2-1 lead in the five-match Youth ODI series beating hosts Bangladesh Under-19 side in two consecutive matches, dismissing them below 100 runs in both the matches.

Hosts Bangladesh Under-19 team, which made a flying start outplaying Afghanistan

U-19 team by a huge margin of 145 runs in the opening match, went down the series after suffering two successive defeats--first by five wickets and 2nd by 45 runs at the same venue.

Bangladesh team were miserably bundled out for 75 runs in the 3rd match and again dismissed for 88 runs in the 4th match, astonishing the cricket fans.

The 2nd Youth ODI match between the two teams was washed out by rain at the same venue on September 30 with Bangladesh scoring 182 for 9 in 43 overs.
