BD players eliminated from qtrs of Yonex Int\\\'l Badminton

All the Bangladeshi players made an early exist from the quarterfinal stage of the Yonex-Sunrise Bangladesh Open International Badminton Challenge' 2013 on the 3rd day of the meet at the Shaheed Suhrawardi National Indoor Stadium innthe city Thursday, reports UNB.

The semifinals of the men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and in the mixed doubles will be held today (Friday).

Results of the day's quarterfinal matches:

In the men's singles, Hsu Jen Hao (TPE) beat Deepak Khatri India by 21-14, 21-7 points; Dharma Alrie Guna (INA) beat Dinuka Karunaratne (SRI) 6-21, 21-19, 21-19; Yogendran Krishnan (MAS) defeated Ketan Chahal (IND) 21-14, 21-15; Subhankar Dey (IND) beat Shahzan Shah Misfahul (MAS) 21-12, 21-19 to reach the semifinals.

In the women's singles, Pai Hsiao Ma (TPE) beat Bristy Khatun (BAN)

by 21-10, 21-5 points; Trupti Murgunde (IND) overcame Arathi Sara Sunil (IND) 21-11, 22-24, 21-16; Sannatash Saniru (MAS) defeated Juhi Dewangan (IND) 21-8, 21-13; Saili Rane (IND) beat Achininimeshika Rathnasir Kapuru Mudiyanselage (SRI) 22-20, 21-15 to move in the semis.

In the men's doubles, Liang Jui Wei and Liao Kuan Hao (TPE) beat Ahmadi Saman and Jinn Yee Tan (MAS) by 21-13, 21-11 points; Deepak Khatri and Gaurav Venkat (IND) beat K.Dilshad and S.Sunjith Jr IND) 21-13, 16-21, 21-17; Hung Ying Yuan and Cheng Heng Su (TPE) defeated S Sanjeeth and Jagadish Yadav (IND) 21-15, 21-11; Jagdish Singh and Wee Long Roni Tan (MAS) beat Abhishek Ahlawat and Bhaskar Chakraborty (IND) 21-14, 18-21, 22-20 to advance to the event's semifinal.
