BD start Asiad Cricket campaign taking on Kuwait today

Defending champions Bangladesh will start their campaign in the 17th Asian Games Cricket taking on Kuwait in the 4th quarter final at the Yeonhui Cricket Ground in Incheon, South Korea today (Wednesday) amid threat of rain by weather forecast, reports UNB.
The match will start at 11:00 am (Bangladesh Time).
Bangladesh Cricket team, led by Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, now pray good weather will prevail today (Wednesday) so they can play a normal game against Kuwait.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh could not make practice as scheduled due to rain and inclement weather.
Earlier, Bangladesh women's cricket team lost to Pakistan in the rain-interrupted final.
Kuwait men's cricket team advanced to the quarterfinal without a single ball bowled as they were declared winners by toss against the Maldives Monday.
Last time runners-up Afghanistan will play Nepal in the other quarterfinal today (Wednesday).
Four teams-holders Bangladesh, runners-up Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong-directly play in the quarterfinals of the meet.
Title aspirant Sri Lanka, which reached the semifinal eliminating hosts South Korea by huge 117 runs in the 2nd quarterfinal Tuesday, will play the semifinal against the winners of Bangladesh and Kuwait (Thursday) at the same venue.
Hong Kong, which reached the semifinal beating Malaysia by seven wickets in the first quarterfinal Tuesday, will face the winners of Afghanistan and Nepal, also tomorrow (Thursday).
