The 30th ranked Bangladesh Hockey team will face their superior opponent 22nd ranked Oman in the World Hockey League (Round-2) quarterfinal in Singapore today (Thursday), reports UNB.
The match will start at 3:30 pm Bangladesh time (5:30 pm Singapore time).
Bangladesh moved to quarterfinal from Pool-B as the 3rd place finisher securing three points from their three matches while Oman as the 2nd place finisher of Pool-A bagging six points with two wins and loss. In the remaining three quarterfinals on the same day, Pool-B champion Poland will take on hosts Pool-A bottom placed Singapore while Pool-A champion Malaysia will face Pool-B bottom placed Mexico and Pool-B 2nd place finisher Japan play against Pool-A 3rd place finisher Ukraine.
