BD to play Spain in the opener

Bangladesh to play Spain in their opening match of the five-a-side 2nd Summer Youth Olympics Games Hockey at the Youth Olympics Sports Park in Pukou, Nanjing on August 17, reports UNB.

Bangladesh has been placed in five-team strong Pool A of the 10-nation Men's Youth Olympics Hockey alongside Australia, South Africa, Spain and Canada.

The Pool B team of men's group comprises Germany, Mexico, New Zealand, Pakistan and Zambia.

In the remaining Pool A matches, Bangladesh will play Australia on Aug 18, Canada on Aug 19 and South Africa on Aug 20.

Members of Bangladesh Hockey Team - Raju Ahmed, Fazle Hosain, Sajubur, Khalid Masud Rakin, Naeemuddin, Deen Islam, Ashraful Islam, Rezaul Karim and Roman Sarkar.
