Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB has not yet proposed any name for ICC presidency after AHM Mustafa Kamal resigned last week, reports bdnews24.com.
BCB President Nazmul Hassan said they would take a call in the next board meeting on April 6.
Hassan told reporters: "I got a call from the ICC and was asked to propose a name for presidency. However, we are yet to make any decision on the matter."
Kamal resigned as the ICC president following a row over the 'controversial' umpiring during Bangladesh-India quarter-final in the ICC World Cup.
The ICC statute requires a Bangladeshi to hold the office until June 30. However, ICC may choose someone from another country if the BCB does not name anyone for the position.
Hassan wondered if anyone from Bangladesh would be interested for the position for just three months. He indicated that Bangladesh may not name anyone for the top post.
