Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Under-18 Football Tournament 2018-19 will kick off at Bangabandhu National Stadium on September 12, reports UNB.
This year, 12 teams of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) clubs - split into four groups - will participate in the tournament.
Ahead of the tournament, the federation signed a deal with sponsor Walton Group in the logo unveiling, signing and draw ceremony on Saturday at its house at Motijheel in the city.
BFF Senior Vice-President Abdus Salam Murshedy, Vice-President Mohiuddin Ahmed Mohi, General Secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag, executive committee members Shawkat Ali Khan Jahangir, Amirul Islam Babu, Iliyas Hossain, Zakir Hossain Chowdhury, Fozlur Rahman Babul and Executive Director of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn were present on the occasion.
The twelve participating clubs are:
Group A: Chattogram Abahani, Brothers Union, Muktijoddha SKC
Group B: Sheikh Jamal DC, Arambagh KS, Rahmatgonj MFS
Group C: Dhaka Abahani, Dhaka Mohammedan, Bashundhara Kings
Group D: Sheikh Russel KC, Saif SC, NoFeL SC
