Bangladesh International Hotel Association (BIHA), a representative organisation in the hospitality industry of the country, unveiled the trophy of BIHA Champions League (BCL) 2025 presented by Orix at Sheraton in the city on Sunday, according to a press release.
A 14-day tournament will begin on May 08 and the final match will be held on May 26 at Gulshan Youth Club Field in the city.
A total of 20 hotels have registered for BCL 2025. The participates are hotels include Amari Dhaka, Ascott Palace Dhaka, Best Western Plus Maple Leaf, Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan, HANSA -- A Premium Residence, Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre- an IHG Hotel, Hotel Omni Residency Dhaka, Hotel Sarina Dhaka, InterContinental Dhaka, Lakeshore Banani, Le Meridien Dhaka, Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka, Platinum Hotels by SHELTECH, Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel, Sayeman Beach Resort Ltd, Sheraton Dhaka, Six Seasons Hotel, The Peninsula Chittagong PLC, The Raintree Dhaka and The Westin Dhaka.
Bangladesh Cricket Board President Faruque Ahmed said, "What a fantastic sight it is to see hospitality professionals come together, not just to showcase their cricketing skills, but to celebrate the incredible spirit and unity of their community".
Advisor of BIHA Champions League 2025 and President of BIHA H M Hakim Ali expressed his excitement, said, "The BIHA Champions League 2025 is a testament to the unity and spirit of the hospitality industry."
Chairman of the Board of BIHA Champions League 2025 Shakawath Hossain said, "We all work in the hospitality industry with a sportsman's mindset, upholding strong team spirit and building great bonds with our stakeholders. Hence, playing any kind of sports will
broaden our mentality and physical fitness. It also teaches us team play and ownership".
