Champions BKSP and runners-up Dhaka DSA moved to the final of the Araf Apparels 21st National Youth Hockey Competition crushing their respective opponents in the Super League at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium in the city Wednesday, reports UNB.
The final between the two teams will be held Thursday at 2:15pm.
In the day's first match, Dhaka DSA ensured their final berth outclassing Munshiganj DSA by 13-0 goals. Dhaka DSA led the first half by 3-0 goals.
Mohammad Rakib Uddin scored four goals while skipper Mamunur Rashid and Mohammad Faisal Hossain netted three goals each for Dhaka DSA. Mohammad Alamgir Islam struck twice while Mohammad Abdur Rashid netted the other for the hosts in the one-sided affair.
In the day's second match, BKSP outplayed Rajshahi DSA by 4-1 goals after enjoying a 2-0 first half lead.
Skipper Mohammad Belal Hossain and Hasan Jubair scored two goals apiece for BKSP while Rana Kumar netted the lone goal for Rajshahi DSA.
