BKSP score 265 for 5 against Rajshahi Division North

BKSP scored 265 for 5 in 78 overs against Rajshahi Division North team on the first day of the two-day semifinal of the Standard Chartered Young Tigers National Under-16 Cricket tournament at the City Club ground at Mirpur in the city Saturday, reports UNB.
Batting first after winning the toss, the national sports training institute team, BKSP, made the moderate score with Liton Kumar Das contributing unbeaten 108 runs and Rafsan 79 runs. Shamim grabbed two wickets for 41 runs.
In the day's 2nd semifinal, Sylhet Division won the toss and invited Chittagong Division to bat first in a rain-soaked ground at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium.
Batting first, Chittagong Division scored 89 for 4 in 42 overs when play was stopped on the first day due to rain with Anisur Rahman scoring 30 runs. Rashed Ali and Ratul Ferdous claimed took wickets each for 9 and 17 runs respectively.
