BKSP win over Urban SCD by 9 wkts

Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Partisthan (BKSP) notched an emphatic nine-wicket victory over Urban Sports and Cultural Development (USCD) in a 40-over match of the Metropolitan Women's Cricket League at BKSP ground-4 in Savar on Monday, reports UNB.
Batting first after winning the toss, USCD were dismissed cheaply for 48 runs in 28.3 overs. There were no double digit scorers for UCSD.
Suraiya Azmim Sanda captured five wickets for 7 runs and was adjudged player of the match. Nahida Akter took four wickets for 21 runs.
Chasing 49 runs, BKSP easily reached the target in 7.1 overs for the loss of one wicket. Opener Farzana Akter scored not out 43 runs while one down Eka Mallik added unbeaten 3 runs.
In the day's other match, Orient Sporting Club defeated Dipali Jubo Sangha by 37 runs at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium.
Coin-favoured Orient SC batted first to score 107 runs for all in 34.4 overs.
Number nine Paprie Akter scored team highest not out 29 runs, Fatema Tuj Johora and Panna Rani scored 14 runs each while Dilara Aktar Dola added 12 runs.
Nigar Sultana and Urmi Khatun grabbed three wickets each for 20 and 31 runs respectively while Nasrin Akter took two wickets 22 runs.
Chasing 108 runs, Dipali JS were all out for 70 runs in 26.5 overs.
Nupur (12), Urmi Khatun (11) and Nigar Sultana (10) were the double digit scorers for Dipali JS.
Paprie Akter claimed four wickets for 9 runs and was adjudged player of the match.
Sabrina Akter took three wickets for 13 runs while Sudha Rani and Munni Ara took one wicket each.
