Blind cricket team expect good result in Blind WC

Bangladesh national blind cricket team expect to bring a good result in their maiden appearance of One Day International (ODI) Blind Cricket World Cup scheduled to be held from November 26 to December 9 in Cape Town, South Africa, reports BSS.
"Our team has been undergoing a two-month rigorous practice camp .... Our preparation is good and we are expecting a promising result in the World Cup," said team manager M Taizuddin at a press conference Sunday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city.
The manager also said the team finished 8th position in the T20 World Cup held in 2012.
Bangladesh placed in Group B in the World Cup and will play the opening match against Australia.
The team is expected to leave for South Africa on Friday (November 28).
Apart from Bangladesh, Australia, New Zealand, England, West Indies, South Africa, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal will compete in the meet.
Bangladesh Blind Cricket Council (BBCC) Chairman M Harun-ur-Rashid, senior vice chairman Dr AKM Harun-ur-Rashid Mujumder, vice chairman Lion Alhaj Didarul Alam Chowdhury, BBCC director admin Syed Kamrul Islam and team manager M Taijuddin were, among others, present on the occasion.
Bangladesh blind cricket team: Hafizur Rahman Bulet (captain), Badal Kumar Das (vice captain), Monir Rana, M Shahadat Hosssain, Shahinul Haque Joy, M Nayeem Mamun, M Solaiman Badsha, M Alam Islam, M Shakib Ahmed, M Mahbub Morshed, M Ibrahim Ali, Alamin, Tanjilur Rahman, M Shaheen Mia, Khorshed Alam, Ripon Borua and Aminur Islam.
Officials- Taijuddin (team manager), Sanowar Ahmed (coach) and Nazmul Kabir (assistant coach).
