The national booters backed to business after a prolonged eight months gap as they joined their first practice session on Saturday ahead of the FIFA friendly match against visiting Nepal national football team next month, reports BSS.
Defying the rain, fifteen players joined the fitness training at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city on Saturday. As the foreign coaching staff are absent at the moment, so the preliminary camp will continue under the supervision of local coaching staff.
Talking to the reporters, footballer Saaduddin said preparations for the return of international football have become less for them and he also admitted that their fitness level is not up to the mark at the moment. These will not be a problem, even if difficult, can be recovered.
He said as Nepal team are their known opponents they don't think of them separately. Theyare upbeat to snatch a good result against Nepal.
Bangladesh are scheduled to host Nepal on November 13 and 17 at the BNS as part of preparation of FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and Asian Cup.
