Booters Sabina, Krishna leave for India, finally

Bangladesh women's football team captain Sabina Khatun and midfielder Krishna Rani Sarkar on Sunday left Dhaka for India after the Indian High Commission (IHC) in Dhaka granted their visa in the afternoon, reports UNB.
They left home at around 7:20pm by a Bangladesh Biman flight BG 0095, confirmed Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).
Sabina and Krishna - former under-16 women's side captains - will play for Sethu Football Club of Tamil Nadu in the final round of the Indian Women's League in Shillong, Meghalaya.
Earlier, both -- Sabina and Krishna -- were denied visa twice by the IHC expressing the inability to grant visa, citing lack of information provided by them.
After issuing the visa, Indian High Commissioner Harsh Vardhan Shringla in a statement wished Sabina and Krishna's best career both in Bangladesh and India.
Sabina and Krishna are scheduled to play in the six games of the final round for Sethu FC on March 26, 28 and 31 and on April 2, 6 and 8 before semifinals of the meet on April 12.
The final of the seven-team fray will be held on April 15.
