Boxing champion Sura Krishna joins UCB

Arif Quadri, managing director and CEO of United Commercial Bank PLC, handing over an appointment letter to Sura Krishna Chakma in the city recently. Additional Managing Director ATM Tahmiduzzaman FCS and Deputy Managing Director Mohammed Khorshed Alam were also present.

Champion boxer Sura Krishna Chakma has joined United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) recently, says a statement.
Mr Sura Krishna participated in numerous international events as a representative of the nation.
He has won multiple gold medals at the Bangladesh Games and the National
Senior Men's Boxing Championship, cementing his position as one of the country's most celebrated athletes.
He represented Bangladesh at the international stage in different prestigious events like the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland and Birmingham.
Mr Sura Krishna owns the record of eight consecutive wins and snatched away medals in 7 international competitions.
The UCB is happy and proud to include such a distinguished individual in its family.
