Brazil, Spain, Dutch envoys present jerseys to President

Brazil, the host nation for the 20th FIFA World Cup-2014, presented Tuesday the jersey of its national football team to President Abdul Hamid as a souvenir, reports UNB.

Brazilian Ambassador in Bangladesh Wanja Campos handed over the jersey to the President at Bangabhaban.

Defending World Cup champion Spain's jersey was presented to the President by Spanish Ambassador to Bangladesh Luis Tejada Chacon while the jersey of runner-up Netherlands was handed over by Netherlands Ambassador in Bangladesh Gerben Sjored de Jong.

President Abdul Hamid wished the success of the World Cup being hosted by Brazil. President Hamid said the World Cup generated huge enthusiasm among the football fans in Bangladesh, particularly young generation.
