A brace by Brazilian forward Everton Souza Santos guided Brothers Union Club to a 2-1 goal victory over Rahmatganj MFS in the lone match of the GrameenPhone Bangladesh League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) in the city Friday, reports UNB. Everton scored for Brothers Union in either half of the match while Ugandan striker Idris Kasirye netted the lone goal for Rahmatganj MFS in the second half. However, Brothers Union went ahead in the 29th minute through their Brazilian forward Everton who raced with the ball from midfield and found the net with a right-footer from inside the D-box (1-0). After the lemon break, Ugandan striker Idris Kasirye restored parity for Rahmatganj MFS from a penalty in the 53rd minute. Rahmatganj MFS got the spot kick when Khan Mohammad Tara of Brothers Union fouled Idris Kasirye in the danger zone (1-1).
