BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) organised an annual sports competition-2014 Tuesday at the Armed Police Battalion's playground, Uttara in the city, said a press release.
Muzaffar U Siddique, Chairman, Board of Trustees of BUFT inaugurated the sports competition as the chief guest. He distributed prizes among the winners. Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin), ex-president of BGMEA and Member of Board of Trustees of BUFT, Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, ex-first vice president of BGMEA and Member, Board of Trustees of BUFT, S M Mannan Kochi, 2nd vice president of BGMEA & vice chairman (Admin), Board of Trustees of BUFT and Reaz-Bin-Mahmood, Vice President (Finance) of BGMEA and Vice Chairman (Finance), Board of Trustees of BUFT were present as special guests.
BUFT Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Syed Masud Husain, Pro-VC Professor Dr Engr Ayub Nabi Khan, Registrar ANM Rafiqul Alam, Md Obaidullah, Senior Faculty and Convener of Games and Sports Committee, faculty members and admin officials were also present at the programme. A large number of faculty members, students and staff participated in the sports competition.
