B’desh A team meet W Indian HPC today

Bangladesh A Team, now on a tour to West Indies, will start their campaign taking on Sagicor High Performance Centre in the first four-day match at Winward Park, Lucas Street in Barbados today (Monday), reports UNB.

The 2nd string Bangladesh side, led by national all rounder Nasir Hossain, reached Barbados Thursday night on a 25-day tour to play two four-day, three one-day and two T20 matches, all against the High Performance Centre of the West Indies.

Bangladesh will play their 2nd and last four-dayer on June 2-5 at the Kensington Oval in Barbados.

The touring Bangladesh A team will play the first one-day match on June 8 at the Kensington Oval in Barbados; the 2nd one-dayer on June 10 at the Winward Cricket Club ground in Barbados; and the 3rd and last one-dayer on June 12 at the Carlton Cricket Ground in Barbados Bangladesh A team will play two T20 matches, the first at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on June 14 and the last at the 3Ws Oval, Barbados on June 15, before leaving for home on June 16.  

Bangladesh A team, now trained by Corey Richards, have three newcomers-left-arm fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman, opening batsman Abdul Mazid and left-arm spinner Taijul Islam.
