Bangladesh Hockey team conceded a humiliating 8-0 defeat against Japan in the opening match of Pool A match of the 17th Asian Games at the Seonhak Hockey Stadium, Incheon, South Korea Saturday, reports UNB.
Japan is placed 13th in the world ranking while Bangladesh is in 30th.
Bangladesh will play their second group match against Malaysia on September 21 and after a day's rest their third match is against Singapore on September 23 at 12:00pm (Bangladesh Time).
In the last pool A match Bangladesh will take on host South Korea scheduled to be held on September 27 at 4:00pm. All the matches will be played at the same venue.
