Certificates given to 16 women v'ball players

Bangladesh Volleyball Federation Saturday distributed certificates to 16 women players on completion of a three-week residential training at the Dhanmondi Women's Sports Complex, reports UNB.

Abdur Rahman Sarker, managing director of National Bank Limited, distributed the certificates among the participants as chief guest.

Farida Begum conducted the camp while Amit Kumar Krishna was her deputy.

Federation vice presidents Morshed A Chowdhury, Mustafizur Rahman Mintu, Mostafa Kamal and general secretary Anisur Rahman were present on the occasion.

The players who received certificates are Aleya Akhter, Nazmun Nahar, Farhana Akhter, Nadia Parvin Lucky, Dipti Rani Sarker, Nusrat Jahan Nishi, Farzana Parvin Asha, Sushmita Khan Eva, Yasmin Akhter, Shahida Parvin Moyuri, Marzia Akhter Momy, Suchana Parvin Keya, Sharmin Parvin, Bornali Khatun Bonna, Sonia Akhter and Nasrin Ara.
