Chess Federation accords reception to Joshi, Tarique

Bangladesh Chess Federation accorded a warm reception to the FIDE Asian Zone 3.2 president and president of Nepal Chess Association Rajesh Hari Joshi and Commonwealth Chess Association treasurer and general secretary of Bangladesh Chess Federation Gazi Shayiful Tarique Sunday at the Dutch-Bangla Bank Auditorium of Bangladesh Olympic Association in the city, reports BSS.

Agriculture Minister Begum Matia Chowdhury, who was present in the reception ceremony as the chief guest, handed over the crests to Joshi and Tarique.

Syed Shahab Uddin Shamim, Vice-President of Bangladesh Chess Federation, presided over the function while Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association Syed Shahed Reza was present as the special guest.
