Chess team to leave for Nepal today

Bangladesh chess team will leave Dhaka for Nepal today (Thursday) to take part in the Asian Zonal (Zone-3.2) Chess Championship qualifies to be held from March 27 to April 1 in Kathmandu, reports BSS.
The event will be held in two groups - men's and women's and the championship will be held in 9 round Swiss-League system. Sixteen players- 10 in men's group and 6 in women's group from Bangladesh- will participate in the event.
Besides, players from Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are also expected to take part in the event.
