Coach Nikola Ilievski bids adieu to BFF

Bangladesh's Macedonian Nikola Ilievski, the head coach of national football team suddenly tender his resignation from his post citing personal problem Wednesday, reports BSS.
Four hours before leaving for holiday, he suddenly decides to bid goodbye to Bangladesh Football Federation. There was a rumor going around for the last week that BFF might sack Nikola for the SAFF football debacle. But just few hours before his departure for his leave holiday, he changed his mind to submit resignation.
Nikola signed a contract for 11 months with BFF but decided to leave as he too heard about the rumors. So there was chance of both Nikola and BFF embroiled into confrontation but good sense prevail both warring parties decided to bury the hatches without spoiling each others reputation.
The coach, who started his job from June this year, said that he took the decision after discussing the matter with BFF President Kazi Salahuddin, " I have already discussed with president. I told him I need a ligament surgery. I have to take three or four month rest. It is not good for national team without a coach. So, I made up my mind to resign. It is very painful but I have to do because I am although a professional" said coach said at a press briefing at BFF House Wednesday.
He emphasized upon the systematic practice. "Professional practice need 1112 months continuity but 6 months are not enough" opined the Macedonian.
He spoke very high of Bangladesh players saying, "Three players of Bangladesh can play in Europe League. Goalkeeper Sohel, right winger Tapu Barman and midfielder Shahed are very good player and if they improve they can play in Europe. Bangladesh need many under 20 teams and they should play more practice match with foreign teams' said Ilievski.
