Chittagong DSA finished 3rd in the 12-team Walton Motorcycle 4th National Rugby Championship beating Gazipur DSA by 24-10 points in a place-deciding match at the Outer Stadium in Paltan Tuesday, reports UNB.
The winners dominated the first half 12-0 points.
Holders Narail DSA will play the final against Bangladesh Army today (Wednesday) at 4:00 pm at the same venue.
Secretary of the National Sports Council Shibnath Roy will be the chief guest in the final and later he will distribute prizes. Chairman of the Tournament Committee and Additional Director of the meet's sponsor Walton FM Iqbal Bin Anwar will be the special guest.
Earlier in the semifinals, Bangladesh Army crushed Gazipur DSA by 63-0 points while Narail DSA eliminated Chittagong DSA by 20-3 points.
