Ctg Mohammedans hold their Dhaka counterparts

Chittagong Mohammedans forced Dhaka Mohammedans to play a goalless draw in the lone match of the Citycell 2nd B League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) in the city Thursday, reports UNB.
This was the fourth draw for Dhaka Mohammedans after four wins and a defeat, while Chiitagong Mohammedans made five draws three wins and one defeat.With the outcome, Dhaka Mohammedans improved their position with 16 points, while Chittagong Moha-mmedan’s collected 14 points, both playing nine matches.
In the day's match, Dhaka Mohammedans dominated the entire proceeding, but failed to convert any opportunity into goal.
They came close to scoring in the 9th minute, but striker Robin's shot from inside the danger zone off Nigerian recruit Bukola's right-wing cross went beside the bar.
Chittagong Mohammedans custodian Mamun Khan foiled another Dhaka Mohammedans attack in the 42nd minute when he fisted Sharif's powerful goal-bound shot taken from outside the D-box at the cost of a corner.
Dhaka Mohammedans striker Hazem Khaled Mahmood missed a spot kick in the 61st minute. His penalty shot went beside the post bar, leaving the Mohammedan fans in despair at the big bowl.
Chittagong Mohammedans got only a scoring chance in the 40th minute, but they failed to capitalise the opportunity.
