Dhaka Division collected 231/7 in 90 overs, at stumps, in the 1st innings after the first day's play against Barisal Division in a Tier -1 match of the four-day affairs Walton 19th National Cricket League (NCL) at Sheikh Abu Naser stadium in Khulna on Friday, reports UNB.
The country's first class cricket league another Tier-1 match between defending champions Khulna Division (77/3 in 22.2 overs, at stumps, in the 1st innings) and Rangpur Division was interrupted by rain on the 1st day at Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi.
Meanwhile, in the Tier-2 match at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong, Dhaka Metro played 90 overs on the first day and collected 236/3, at stumps, in the 1st innings against home side Chittagong Division.
Rain did not allow to open innings on the first day of another Tier-2 match between Rajshahi Division and Sylhet Division at Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra.
