Dhaka earn 7-wkt victory over Sylhet Div

Mosharraf's all-round performance guided holders Dhaka Division to first victory in their second one-day match of the Ispahani Mirzapore Tea 9th National Cricket League beating all-losers Sylhet Division by seven wickets at the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra Tuesday, reports UNB.
Mosharraf Hossain, who grabbed three wickets for 32 runs to restrict Sylhet Division to 195 and scored not out 49 runs off 68 balls with three fours and a six, was adjudged man of the match.
Batting first after winning the toss, Sylhet Division were all out for 195 in 45.5 overs with middle order national batsman Alok Kapali scoring team highest 42 runs off 57 balls that featured two fours and two sixes.
Former national vice-captain cum Sylhet skipper Rajin Saleh scored 35 runs off 77 balls with four fours, while two down Saif Mahmud made 28 off 43 balls with two fours and lower order Nazmul Hossain made not out 28 off 39 balls with one four and a six.
Besides, Ejaz Ahmed made 27 off 43 balls with two fours and opener Golam Mabud made 24 off 22 balls with five fours.
Apart from Mosharruf Hossain's three-wicket haul, national colour captain of Dhaka Division Mohammad Ashraful took two wickets for 23 runs in 7.5 overs.
In reply, Dhaka Division made a good start scoring 86 runs in the opening stand and reached their target of 196 runs in 41.2 overs for the loss of seven wickets.
Opener Javed Omar scored 48 runs off 71 balls with eight fours, another opener Al Shahriar Rokon made 35 off 49 balls with four fours and a six, Mehrab Hossain Jr made 34 off 53 balls with five fours, while Ashraful remained not out on 9 with two fours.
Nabil Samad captured two wickets for 26 runs in 8.2 overs, while Alok Kapali took one wicket giving away 27 runs.
