Dhaka emerge champions beating Tangail by 33-26

Dhaka DSA clinched the title of the Spectra Group 1st Inter-District Women's Kabaddi Competition beating Tangail DSA by 33-26 points with two creditable lonas in the final at the Kabaddi Stadium in the city Sunday, reports UNB.
Two semifinalist teams -- Rajshahi DSA and Narayanganj DSA -- have jointly been placed in the 3rd position by tournament bylaws.
Youth and Sports Ministry Adviser Tapan Chowdhury witnessed the final match as chief guest and later distributed prizes among the winners.
The Adviser also awarded the members and officials of the bronze winning 15th Asian Games Men's Kabaddi Team Tk 25,000 each.
Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation also awarded the 10th SA Games bronze winning men's and women's Kabaddi teams Tk 10,000 each.
