Dhaka record 2nd win in national hockey

Star-studded Dhaka DSA recorded their second win in the super league of the 27th National Hockey Championship when they handed a 3-1 defeat to Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP) at the Moulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium Saturday, reports BDNews24.com.
Imtiaz Ahmed Rubel put the last year's runners-up, Dhaka, ahead in the 14th minute with a field goal while Iqbal Nazir Prince doubled the margin in the 56th minute, also by a field goal.
One minute later, Imran Ahmed Sohel made it 3-0 converting a penalty corner.
The BKSP reduced the margin riding on a strike from Syed Al Mamun seven minutes from time to leave the field with the first defeat in the second match after playing a 2-2 draw against Faridpur DSA Friday.
Moshiur Rahman Biplob, national defender of Dhaka, was adjudged man of the match to receive the prize from former national hockey player Shahabuddin Chakladar.
In the other match of the day, Faridpur easily handed a 4-0 defeat to Rajshahi DSA at the same venue.
