Bangladesh Women beat Netherlands Women by 13 runs in a rain-hit match that was reduced to eight overs per side after a delayed start. A blistering half-century from Dilara Akter helped Bangladesh post 98 for 3 in the last match of the tri-series, before their bowlers held off a strong Dutch chase, reports Cricbuzz.

Dilara led the charge with 51 off 26 balls, hitting eight fours and two sixes, and dominated the early overs during a 42-run opening stand with Juairiya Ferdous (13). Bangladesh crossed 50 in four overs and kept up the momentum despite losing wickets late. Sobhana Mostary made 11, while Nigar Sultana struck two fours in her nine-ball cameo as Bangladesh finished with a challenging total.

Netherlands got off to a flying start through Heather Siegers (21) and Babette de Leede (30), who added 52 runs for the first wicket. But Bangladesh turned the game around when Fariha Trisna dismissed both set batters in the fifth over. Robine Rijke kept the chase alive with a quick 21 off 12 balls, and Netherlands needed 19 from the final over. Ritu Moni then delivered under pressure, taking two wickets and being involved in a run-out as Bangladesh closed out a 13-run win.

Brief scores: Bangladesh Women 98/3 in 8 overs (Dilara Akter 51; Myrthe van den Raad 1-16) beat Netherlands Women 85/5 in 8 overs (Babette de Leede 30; Fariha Trisna 2-20, Ritu Moni 2-11) by 13 runs.
