Dinajpur storm into semis

Dinajpur DSA moved into the semifinals of the 29th National (Inter-District) Cricket Championship with a four-wicket win over Moulvibazar DSA in the last quarterfinal at the Shams-ul-Huda Stadium in Jessore Sunday, reports UNB.
Dinajpur DSA will play Rangpur DSA in the second semi-final tomorrow (Tuesday) while Barisal DSA will meet Khulna DSA in the first semi-final today (Monday).
In the day's match, sent into bat first Moulvibazar DSA were all out for 64 runs in 34.1 overs. No Moulvibazar batsman was able to reach double figure while match highest 18 runs came from extras.
Minhaz Reza and Atif Chowdhury grabbed three wickets each for 13 and 23 runs respectively while Saim Hossain took two wickets for 6 runs.
In reply, Dinajpur DSA easily reached their target of 65 runs in 18.3 overs for the loss of 6 wickets.
Opener Rezaul Islam contributed 21 runs off 19 balls with four fours, one down Bappy Das made not out 19 off 60 balls with two fours while lower order Minhaz Reza hit unbeaten 13 runs off 14 balls with three fours.
Mokammel Ali picked up five wickets for 18 runs in nine overs while Nur Hossain bagged the remaining wicket for 15 runs.
