Div I Kabaddi League begins May 17

The 18th 1st Division Kabaddi League will begin on May 17 at the Kabaddi Stadium in the city, reports BSS.

A total of 12 clubs will compete in the eight-day meet, organised by the Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation. The top two teams will be promoted to the next year's premier division league while one bottom-ranked team will be relegated to the second division.

In this regard, a press conference was held Tuesday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium conference room to give all the details of the meet.

The participating teams are Faruk Smriti Kabaddi team, Abarchin KC, Mancity Club, Singna Sangha, Maniknagar Unyan Samity, Sornali Sangsad, Institute of Kabaddi, Moulvi Surujjaman Smriti Sangsad, Satrouja Nabin Sangha, Star Sports, Matuail Milon Smriti Sangsad and Shishu Kishore Sangha.
