Div I Volleyball League begins today

The seven-team Walton Air Conditioner Metropolis First Division Volleyball League, organised by Bangladesh Volleyball Federation, begins at the Dhaka Volleyball Stadium today (Thursday), reports UNB.

Seven clubs of Dhaka Metropolis will take part in the 10-day meet (June 5-14).

Participating teams: Bangladesh Jail, Uttara Sporting Club, Bhai Bhai Sangha, Naba Jagarani Sangha, Swabolambi Society, Madartek Mitali Sangha and East End Boys.

Bangladesh Jail will play the inaugural match against East End Boys at 10:00 am while Uttara Sporting Club will meet Madartek Mitali Sangha in the opening day's other match.

Best three players of the league will get Walton's home appliance as prize.
