Div II Chess League opens

The second Division Chess League was inaugurated Tuesday at the Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room in the city, reports BSS.

Zohurul Haque Babu, director and member secretary of Philosophia English Medium School, inaugurated of the meet as the chief guest.

A total 23 teams, including four children teams and one Braille team are participating in the event.

The 2nd Division Chess League is being held in 7 round Swiss-league system and top two teams will qualify for the 1st Division Chess League for 2015.
