Div II Volleyball Nabarun reach semis

Banani Nabarun Sangha reached the semifinal as Group A champions of the Marcel Air Conditioner Dhaka Metropolis Second Division Volleyball League beating Juba Sangha Club by 3-1 sets at the Volleyball Stadium in the city Saturday, reports UNB.

In the day's other match, Sonali Bank Recreation Club beat Friends Union by straight 3-0 sets to reach the semifinal as Group B runners-up at the same venue.

Despite the day's defeat, Juba Sangha Club will play the semifinal against Group B champion Nagar Samaj Kalyan Sangha while Banani Nabarun Sangha will play Sonali Bank RC in the other semifinal, both on Sunday at the same venue.
