Dhaka University (DU) clinched the Inter-University Cricket title with unbeaten record beating Jahangirnagar University (JU) by two runs in the final at the Jagannath Hall ground in the city Monday, reports UNB.
Pro-Vice chancellor of Dhaka University Prof Dr Harun-or-Rashid witnessed the final as the chief guest and distributed the prizes.
Batting first, Dhaka University scored 140 for all in quota 20 overs and later they dismissed Jahangirnagar University for 138 runs.
Saadi and Deep of Dhaka University were jointly named man of the match.
A total of eleven Public University teams took part in the meet.
