ECB confirms Bangladesh men, women tours for 2027

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has confirmed that England will host Bangladesh for a one-off Test at Lord's Cricket Ground next year, report agencies.
The match, scheduled to begin on May 28, 2027, will mark Bangladesh's first Test tour of England since the two-match series in 2010.
The ECB has also confirmed that the Bangladesh Women's team will embark on its maiden bilateral tour of England later that year for a six-match white-ball series.
Bangladesh Women are scheduled to play three T20Is and three ODIs in September 2027. The tour will begin with the opening T20I in Northampton on September 8, followed by matches in Taunton and Worcester on September 10 and 12, respectively.
The teams will then switch to the ODI format, with matches scheduled in Hove on September 17, Canterbury on September 21, and Chelmsford on September 24.
"We are excited to welcome Bangladesh Men for a one-off Test at Lord's, which will be the first time we have played them at home in a Test since 2010, while also hosting Bangladesh Women in a white-ball series," ECB Chief Executive Officer Richard Gould said while confirming Bangladesh's schedule.
Although Bangladesh lost both Tests during their 2010 tour of England, the series featured memorable individual performances.
Current Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Tamim Iqbal scored a century at Lord's, earning a place on the prestigious Lord's Honours Board. Fast bowler Shahadat Hossain also secured a place on the Honours Board after claiming a five-wicket haul during the tour. The women's tour will take place after Bangladesh's men's team travels to England for the one-off Test, which will mark Bangladesh's first men's Test in England since 2010.
