Election to BOA president post

A nomination paper for election to the post of president of Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) was submitted Wednesday on behalf of Bangladesh Army Chief General M Abdul Mubeen, reports UNB.
General Mubeen's was the only nomination paper submitted Wednesday, the day fixed for such submission.
BOA director and CEO Col (retd) M Wali Ullah, as councillor of BOA, submitted the nomination paper on behalf of Gen Mubeen to returning officer and NSC director (Sports) Subrata Roy Mitra.
BOA vice president Mizanur Rahman Manu was present at the time.
The election to the post of president of the Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) is scheduled for August 20.
