Federation Cup begins today

Curtain of the season's domestic football will be raised today (Friday) as the Grameenphone Federation Cup Football begins with Bangladesh Navy taking on Cox City FC in the opening match, reports UNB.
The match will kick off at 3:00 pm at the country's premier venue, Bangabandhu National Stadium.
In the day's second match, Beanibazar SC will meet Wari Club at 5:15 pm at the same venue.
The galleries to the stadium will remain open to the spectators allowing them to enjoy both the matches free of cost.
Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) senior vice president cum professional league committee chairman Abdus Salam Murshedy will formally open the meet as the chief guest.
Twelve teams - seven football clubs and five invited services teams - will be taking part in the meet, sponsored by Grameenphone, a leading mobile phone operator in the country.
