Five cricketers dropped from Bangladesh ODI squad

Two former national skippers Habibul Bashar Sumon and Khaled Mashud Pilot will return home along with three other players after the ongoing third and last test against Sri Lanka in Kandy as they were dropped from Bangladesh ODI squad Thursday, reports UNB.
Former national vice-captains Shahriar Nafees Ahmed and Rajin Saleh Alam and pacer Mohammad Sharif have also been dropped from the team, which will play three ODI matches against Sri Lanka during the ongoing tour.
Bangladesh will play three ODI matches against Sri Lanka on July 20, 23 and 25, all in Colombo.
Four replacement players -- Aftab Ahmed Chowdhury, Tamim Iqbal Khan, Forhad Reza and Mahmudullah Riyad -- will leave here for Colombo Saturday to join the national team.
Another replacement player of Bangladesh ODI squad Tushar Imran already reached Sri Lanka this week in advance to play in the third and last test match in Kandy.
Bangladesh ODI squad: Mohammad Ashraful (captain), Mashrafe Bin Mortaza (vice- captain), Javed Omar, Mehrab Hossain Jr, Shakib al Hasan, Shahadat Hossain Rajib, Syed Rasel, Mohammad Rafique, Abdur Razzak Raj, Mushfiqur Rahim, Tushar Imran, Aftab Ahmed Chowdhury, Tamim Iqbal, Forhad Reza and Mahmudullah Riyad.
